Análisis del uso de anglicismos y neologismos en los streams de Twitch: el caso de ElRubius

Abstract

El s. XXI ha estado marcado por el acelerado desarrollo de todo tipo de tecnologías presentes en nuestro día a día, y en gran medida en el mundo del entretenimiento. Uno de estos grandes desarrollos es el mundo del streaming, es decir, la retransmisión en línea de videojuegos y otros programas de entretenimiento por personas desde su propio hogar. Este fenómeno sin precedentes ha dado lugar a un intercambio lingüístico en el entorno de internet que ha producido una gran cantidad de préstamos del inglés al español. En este análisis se estudia el caso del Rubius y las características de su discurso oral cuando retransmite en directo en Twitch.

The 21st century has been characterised by the rapid development of all kinds of technologies that are part of our daily lives, particularly in the world of entertainment. One of these major developments is the world of streaming, that is, the online broadcasting of video games and other entertainment programmes by individuals from their own homes. This unprecedented phenomenon has given rise to a linguistic exchange within the online environment that has produced a large number of loanwords from English into Spanish. This analysis examines the case of Rubius and the characteristics of his spoken discourse when he streams live on Twitch.
