The massive influx of immigrants to our country represents a huge demographic shift, with social and cultural impact, prompting a reflection on the provision of care to patients who not only have a cultural background different from ours, but, given the very migration process. From nursing point of view in a multicultural reality, we need to discover relevant dimensions, which make us reflect about nurse’s care in different cultures, and its relationship with health, human care and disease. When we talk about cultural competence we will reflect about the immigrant population’s care, and at the same time point of view from their existential values, the expression and beliefs about health, disease, and role models. Identifying these barriers and seeking solutions to these difficulties. Therefore, the demand for health care in our Region leads us to question how migrants perceive our health care and demonstrate topics about immigration and health.es_ES
