El sistema moral de Adam Smith y su aplicación ética

Abstract

En este trabajo se busca hacer un estudio del sistema moral de Adam Smith. El análisis de sus obras e ideas aporta luz a su figura y desmiente gran parte lo que se enseña sobre él. Las interpretaciones de su obra de manera interesada durante un largo tiempo desde su muerte han supuesto un gran daño en el conocimiento completo de su obra. Sus ideas en el ámbito de la ética, la moral y la economía siguen siendo de aplicación en nuestra época actual en la sociedad global en la que vivimos. Es por ello que llevamos a cabo una reflexión acerca del marco ético del mundo financiero al igual que una crítica de las acciones realizadas durante la última crisis económica y financiera.

In this work we seek to make a study of the moral system of Adam Smith. The analysis of his works and ideas brings light to his figure and belies much of what is taught about him. The interpretations of his work in an interested way for a long time since his death have been a great damage in the complete knowledge of his work. His ideas in the field of ethics, morals and economics are still applicable in our current era in the global society in which we live. That is why we carry out a reflection on the ethical framework of the financial world as well as a critique of the actions carried out during the last economic and financial crisis.
