Perspectivas de crecimiento económico de China : disputa del liderazgo mundial a Estados Unidos

Abstract

El crecimiento de la economía china en los últimos cuarenta años sugiere que en poco tiempo tendrá la mayor economía del mundo adelantando a Estados Unidos. Este hecho abre muchas preguntas sobre cómo se adaptará el mundo a esta nueva situación. A lo largo de este trabajo, se estudia la singularidad del sistema político y económico de China en el último siglo así como los distintos cambios que se han producido en el comunismo chino. Posteriormente, se pone el foco en la apertura exterior del país, en los avances que ha supuesto la misma y los medios por los que se ha llevado a cabo. A continuación, se analizan la actual rivalidad comercial con Estados Unidos y los proyectos de futuro de China para aumentar su influencia internacional. Por último, se responde con las conclusiones a las preguntas planteadas en el inicio del trabajo.

The growth of the Chinese economy in the last forty years suggests that in a short time it will have the largest economy in the world ahead of the United States. This fact opens many questions about how the world will adapt to this new situation. Throughout this work, we study the uniqueness of the political and economic system of China in the last century as well as the different changes that have occurred in Chinese communism. Then, it focuses on the openness of the country to the international trade, on the progress it has made and the means by which it has been carried out. Next, the current commercial rivalry with the United States and China's future projects to increase its international influence are analyzed. Finally, the questions asked at the beginning of the work are answered in the conclusions.
