Evaluación de un vehículo todoterreno homologado como cuadriciclo ligero y de un quad
Resumen
En este proyecto se estudia y evalúa la seguridad activa y pasiva de un quad y
un buggy y se proponen posibles soluciones para mejorarlas.
Los objetivos principales del proyecto son el conocimiento de las actuales
legislaciones de quad y buggy, conocer el comportamiento del quad y el buggy ante
distintas condiciones ambientales y dinámicas, y la comparativa de prestaciones y
comportamiento entre los dos vehículos.
La primera parte del proyecto consistió en una labor de investigación para
recopilar toda la información posible sobre los modelos que íbamos a estudiar, para
ello visitamos concesionarios especializados, ferias y exposiciones sobre estos tipos
de vehículos; también se obtuvo información de Internet a través de las páginas
oficiales y foros especializados; y por último consultamos libros y revistas para
completar la recopilación.
La segunda parte consistió en la creación de hojas de cálculo y gráficas para
esquematizar y aplicar las fórmulas de dinámica vehicular elegidas para realizar el
estudio de prestaciones, comportamiento en curva y para el cálculo del centro de
gravedad de los vehículos.
En la memoria se han incluido las definiciones y evolución histórica de los
vehículos, así como la legislación vigente. También se han definido la seguridad
activa y pasiva de los vehículos así como los elementos con los que cuentan los
quads y los buggys.
En el apartado de planos han sido incluidos unos planos para ver las
dimensiones de los vehículos de manera esquemática.
A la hora de realizar el presupuesto de este proyecto se ha considerado como
si fuera sólo el estudio de estos vehículos y se han ignorado las posibles mejoras que
incorporaríamos para mejorar la seguridad en los vehículos estudiados. In this Project it studies and evalues the active and passive security of quads
and buggies, it also proposes possible solutions in order to improve them.
The main objectives ofthe project are the knowledge ofthe present
legislations of quads and buggies, to know the behaviour of these vehicles in the face
of different arnbient and dynarnic conditions, and compare the performance features
and the behaviour ofthe vehicles.
The first part of the Proj ect consists on a task of investigation for collecting
all the possible inf01mation about the models we were studying, for that we visited
specialized concessionaires, trade fairs and expositions of this kind of vehicles;
information also was obtained through the Internet, through the official web pages
and specialized forums; and at last we looked up books and magazines to complete
the recompilation ..
The second part consisted on the creation of tables and graphics to make
diagrarns and apply the formulas of dynarnic of vehicles chosen for making a study
of performance features, behaviour in bends and for calculating the gravity centre of
vehicles.
In the memory we have included the definitions and the historical evolution
of quads and buggies, as well as the actual legislation. Active and passive security
has been defined as well as the elements that quads and buggies have.
In the part of plans we have included sorne plans in order to see the
dimensions of vehicles schematically.
At the time of making the budget ofthis Project it has been considered like a
study of these vehicles and we have ignored the possible improvements that we
would incorporate for improving the security of the studied vehicles.
