Donde nacen las lenguas : estudio y análisis de las lenguas en la ficción

Abstract

Este trabajo aborda el fénomeno de la creación lingüística, en concreto con fines artísticos. A lo largo del mismo se hace una evaluación histórica del fénomeno, se comparan lenguas naturales y artificiales, se dan unas pautas para la creación de una lengua artificial con fines artísticos y se procede al análisis de una lengua ya existente siguiendo las pautas establecidas. La creación lingüística es un tema con una gran importancia en el campo de las humanidades y un reflejo de la creatividad del ser humano, que no se limita a aprender lenguas ya existentes sino que va más allá y busca la perfección, la concordia o simplemente dar realismo a sus historias a través del lenguaje.

This paper tackles the topic of linguistic creation, focusing on the artistic approach. The document begins with a historical context on the subject matter, following with the differences between natural language and artificial language, establishing then the steps to create an artistic language and finally including an analysis of an already existing language following the steps established before. Linguistic creation is an important subject related to human studies indeed and it shows the creativity of mankind, which not only limits itself to learn existing languages, but also goes far beyond looking for perfection, concord or making their stories more realistic through language.
