Fenómenos lingüísticos de contacto entre el italiano y el español en el espacio plural del Río de la Plata.

Abstract

En la presente investigación se han analizado los fenómenos derivados del contacto entre el español y el italiano en el espacio plural del Río de la Plata. Esto se ha llevado a cabo gracias a un estudio sobre la ola migratoria de los italianos en el territorio argentino a lo largo de los siglos XIX y XX y de sus aportaciones tanto lingüísticas como culturales. En la segunda parte del trabajo, se expone un análisis diacrónico de dos jergas que derivan de la lengua italiana, el cocoliche, una mezcla del español con el italiano y sus respectivos dialectos, y el lunfardo, relacionado muchas veces con la delincuencia y el hampa. Ambas contribuyeron a la formación del idioma argentino actual, ya que fueron un punto de referencia para la creación de su gramática y vocabulario, además de dejar huellas de la presencia lingüística y cultural de los italianos en Argentina.

The aim of this essay is to analyze the phenomenon of contact between Spanish and Italian in the area of the Río de la Plata. This has been carried out through a study on the Italian immigration wave to Argentina throughout the 19th and 20th centuries and their linguistic and cultural contributions. In the second part of the essay, we present a diachronic analysis of two jargons derived from the Italian language: cocoliche, which is a mixture of Spanish with Italian and Italian dialects, and lunfardo, which is often related to crime and underworld. Both contributed to the birth of the current Argentinian language, as they were a point of reference for the creation of their grammar and vocabulary, in addition to leaving traces of the linguistic and cultural presence of Italians in Argentina.
