Dificultades de comunicación entre el paciente oncológico terminal y la familia

Abstract

Este proyecto educativo pretende reducir las dificultades de comunicación entre el paciente oncológico terminal y sus familias, proporcionando los conocimientos y mecanismos necesarios para poder cubrir al completo las necesidades del paciente terminal. Esta guía está dirigida a las familias de este tipo de pacientes. Se complementarán los conocimientos que las familias posean de base y se aportarán nuevos. Además, se intentará potenciar el control de las emociones, disminuyendo la ansiedad, y la creación de mecanismos necesarios para llevarlo a cabo. Los temas serán impartidos por una enfermera y una psicóloga, y abarcarán las tres áreas, que son: área cognitiva, afectiva y de habilidades con la finalidad de proporcionar unos conocimientos completos.

This educational project aims to reduce the difficulties of communication between the terminal cancer patient and their families, providing knowledge and mechanisms to meet the full needs of terminally ill patients. This guide is intended for the families of these patients. The knowledge that families have will be completed with new information. In addition, we will try enhance the control of emotions, reducing anxiety, and creating mechanisms to carry it out. The subjects will be taught by a nurse and a psychologist, and will cover three areas, namely: cognitive, affective and skills in order to provide a complete knowledge area.
