Transición a la sostenibilidad en la industria de los ascensores - Theis Añón, Pablo Pierre

Abstract

Después de 40 años de concienciación y el acuerdo sobre la Agenda 2030 con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) en 2015, el mundo empresarial, en general, y el sector de los ascensores, en particular, están, cada vez más, comprometidos en participar de forma activa en el desarrollo sostenible. Este trabajo trata de la transición a la sostenibilidad de la industria de los ascensores. Para efectuarlo de manera sistemática se ha estudiado, dentro de un marco teórico, la situación particular actual de este sector en el cuál se encuentra respecto al desarrollo sostenible después de haber estudiado los ODS, en general, la situación de los ODS en España así como la situación de la industria española. Posteriormente, se ha analizado los resultados del marco teórico, contrastando los datos obtenidos para el sector de los ascensores con la industria, por una parte, y con los 17 ODS del agenda 2030. Así pues, se ha podido elaborar un Plan de Desarrollo Sostenible para el sector de los Ascensores (PDSA) ambicioso pero, a la vez, realista. Además, durante el trabajo, se ha descubierto las ventajas empresariales que conlleva la implantación de un PDSA. Finalmente, hemos reflexionado acerca de variables críticas respecto a la implantación del PDSA.

After 40 years of raising awareness and the agreement about the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) reached in 2015, the business world in general, and the elevator sector in particular, are ever more committed to actively participating in sustainable development. This work discusses the transition to sustainability in the elevator industry. In order to carry out the work systematically, the current specific situation of this sector has been studied within the theoretical framework in which the situation of SDGs in Spain, as well as the situation of Spanish industry, finds itself in as regards sustainable development after having studied SDGs in general. Later, the results of the theoretical framework were analyzed, contrasting the data obtained for the elevator sector with that of industry, on the one hand, and with the 17 SDGs for the 2030 Agenda on the other Thus, an ambitious, but at the same time realistic, Sustainable Development Plan for the Elevator Sector (SDPE) could be drawn up. Furthermore, as the research was carried out, the business advantages that the implementation of an SDPE entails were discovered. Finally, we reflected on the critical variables regarding the implementation of the SDPE.
