Liderazgo femenino en épocas de crisis.
Abstract
Although women accessed power and leadership positions for decades now, reaching and maintaining them remains difficult. This paper takes the opportunity provided by Covid- 19 to analyse the characteristics of women leaders and establish their importance and excellence in crisis management, using a number of studies that compare the crisis management performance of women and men at the political level. The results, based on a combination of the aforementioned studies and the extensive literature focusing on leadership, establish that the main differences may be mainly due to risk aversion and overconfidence.
