La interpretación comunitaria en las ONGs en España

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene por objeto el estudio del mercado de l interpretación en las ONG de España. Esta es una disciplina cada vez más necesaria en la sociedad de flujos migratorios debido a distintas crisis en la que vivimos hoy en día. Para analizar este mercado, se verá un poco de su contexto, al igual que el de las ONG en España, y a continuación se indagará sobre cómo acceder a la profesión, investigando la formación necesaria, las mejores técnicas a usar y los problemas existentes dentro de ella como puede ser el intrusismo, la poca valoración o la falta de regulación. Como objeto de análisis se ha entrevista a 5 intérpretes profesionales que trabajan dentro del campo de la interpretación en ONG en España.

The aim of this paper is to study the interpreting market in NGOs in Spain. This is a discipline that is increasingly necessary in the society of migratory flows due to the different crises we live in today. In order to analyse this market, we will look at its context, as well as that of NGOs in Spain, and then we will investigate how to enter the profession, researching the necessary training, the best techniques to use and the existing problems within it, such as intrusiveness, undervaluation or lack of regulation. Five professional interpreters working in the field of interpreting for NGOs in Spain were interviewed.
