La figura femenina en la novela El doctor Zhivago, de Borís Pasternak

Abstract

El tema de este trabajo se basa en la novela rusa del siglo XX El doctor Zhivago, que constituye una de las obras literarias más prestigiosas de su época. El objetivo principal de la investigación llevada a cabo consiste en el análisis de uno de sus personajes principales, la protagonista femenina. Se tendrán en cuenta distintas dimensiones del personaje y se tomarán dos enfoques principales como modelo de análisis: parámetros que esclarecerán el tipo de personaje literario, así como criterios de análisis de personajes desde el enfoque de género. De esta manera, se pretende aportar una línea de análisis de la novela desde el punto de vista de género a investigaciones pasadas.

The subject of this paper is based on the 20th century Russian novel Doctor Zhivago, which is one of the most prestigious literary works of its time. The main objective of the research carried out consists in the analysis of one of its main characters, the female protagonist. Different dimensions of the character will be taken into account and two main approaches will be taken as a model of analysis: parameters that will clarify the type of literary character, as well as criteria that will apply a gender approach to the analysis. This is so that the research contributes to past investigation works with a line of the novel’s analysis from the gender point of view.
