ECONOMÍA CIRCULAR, RELACIÓN CON LA AGEDA 2030, MÉTODOS DE IMPLANTACIÓN Y FINLANDIA COMO VANGUARDISTA DE ESTE SISTEMA Irujo Gallego, Javier

Abstract

La economía circular se ha propuesto como medio para alcanzar unos objetivos medioambientales muy ambiciosos pero que no se están cumpliendo actualmente porque la economía mundial se basa en un modelo económico lineal insostenible que ya ha dejado mella en el medio ambiente. Es por esa razón por la que se proponen una serie mecanismos o métodos que permitan la implementación de la economía circular a la economía moderna, además de que se deben mostrar los beneficios tanto medioambientales como económicos para estimular el cambio a este modelo. La economía finlandesa debe ser mostrada como ejemplo al usar la economía circular y mostrar al resto del mundo su viabilidad y rentabilidad.

The circular economy has been proposed to achieve ambitious environmental goals, but these are not currently being met because the global economy is based on an unsustainable linear economic model that has already taken its toll on the environment. It is for this reason that a few mechanisms or methods are proposed to enable the implementation of the circular economy into the modern economy, and both environmental and economic benefits must be shown to stimulate the adoption of this model. The Finnish economy should be held up as an example in using the circular economy and show the rest of the world its viability and profitability.
