Educación para la salud en el domicilio. Leucemia linfoblástica aguda

Abstract

Proyecto educativo que ofrece pautas de actuación a familiares de niños afectados por leucemia linfoblástica aguda (LLA), enfermedad oncohematológica, con la finalidad de que puedan realizar en el domicilio familiar las atenciones sanitarias, rutinas y hábitos saludables que permitan ofrecer al paciente los mejores cuidados en el hogar. Está dividido en cuatro sesiones que son impartidas a los padres, de manera didáctica y dinámica a través de modelos explicativos y participativos. Estas sesiones hablan de los cuidados generales de la higiene corporal, oral, la eliminación, ejercicio físico entre otras cosas, sobre el afrontamiento de varios efectos del tratamiento u enfermedad y del trasplante de médula ósea. Por último, se ofrece una serie de herramientas para el apoyo a las sesiones que son: páginas web de referencia o vídeos y un folleto que resume de manera esquemática los cuidados más relevantes que se deben llevar a cabo.

Educational project that offers different action guidelines to parents of children affected by acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), oncohematological disease, so that they can perform in the family home health care, routines and healthy habits that allow the patient to offer the best home care. It is divided into four sessions that be taught to parents in a didactic and dynamic way through explanatory and participatory models. These sessions deal with general care, body hygiene, oral, elimination and physical exercise among other things, but also on how to deal with the adverse effects of the disease, treatments and bone marrow transplantation. Finally, a series of tools are offered to support the sessions that are: reference web pages or videos and a leaflet that summarizes in a schematic way the most relevant care that must be carried out.
