Diseño de una subestación transformadora 220/20 kV
Abstract
Natural Fenosa y a Iberdrola, respectivamente.
The main objective of the transmission network is to guarantee the security of
supply and the quality of service in the whole electric system. While the city of Madrid
is almost completely surrounded by a ring-like 220 kV system, there are still some
isolated nodes that belong to different distribution system operators. Residencial
Metropolitan is an ambitious urban project, located near Azca and El Pilar substations,
which belong to Gas Natural Fenosa and Iberdrola, respectively. This project aims at
providing a solution to connect these substations so as to improve the service, while
upgrading the transmission capacity of the distribution network in Cuatro Caminos.
The substation will make use of the GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) technology,
which is especially suitable for urban substations, where space reduction and reliability
are the main goals.
