Abstract

Este estudio examina el progreso de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) y el impacto del Covid-19, con un enfoque específico en España. Para lograrlo, se proporciona en primer lugar un contexto histórico sobre los ODS utilizando una metodología cualitativa. Posteriormente, utilizando una metodología cuantitativa, se realiza un análisis individual de los ODS 1, 3, 4 y 5 en España, con el fin de examinar en detalle cada uno de ellos y comprender la situación actual y el progreso alcanzado en los últimos años en cada área. Para ello se examina la evolución de los indicadores relevantes de estos ODS, lo que permite una comprensión clara y objetiva del impacto del Covid-19 en el avance de las metas establecidas por los ODS. También se analizan las políticas implementadas por el gobierno para mitigar el impacto de la pandemia. Los resultados obtenidos en este estudio permitirán identificar áreas de atención urgente y sentar las bases para investigaciones futuras, contribuyendo así al conocimiento académico en el campo de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.

This study examines the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the impact of Covid-19, with a specific focus on Spain. To achieve this, firstly, a historical context is provided for the SDGs using a qualitative methodology. Subsequently, utilizing a quantitative methodology, an individual analysis is conducted for SDGs 1, 3, 4, and 5 in Spain, in order to examine each of them in detail and understand the current situation and progress achieved in each area in recent years. This involves examining the evolution of relevant indicators for these SDGs, allowing for a clear and objective understanding of the impact of Covid-19 on the advancement of SDG targets. The policies implemented by the government to mitigate the impact of the pandemic are also analyzed. The findings from this study will help identify areas requiring urgent attention and lay the groundwork for future research, thereby contributing to academic knowledge in the field of Sustainable Development Goals.
