Programación con mayor enfoque en las Ciencias Sociales. ¡El mundo es un museo!

Abstract

Se presenta una programación didáctica anual, contextualizada en el 1º cur-so de Educación Infantil del Montessori International School Conde de Orgaz, partiendo del arte, pero con un mayor enfoque en el área de Ciencias Sociales. Cuenta con quince unidades didácticas que se reparten a lo largo del curso escolar 2023-2024, cuyo hilo conductor surge del estudio de artistas relevantes que han contribuido a la cultura a lo largo de la historia. Para ello, cada unidad didáctica analiza dos obras de un autor en concreto, sirviendo como contexto para introducir las competencias, objetivos y saberes de las tres áreas de Edu-cación Infantil. La programación pretende acercar el arte a los alumnos de una manera útil y valiosa, guiándoles por el autodescubrimiento y la toma de contacto con su en-torno cercano durante el primer trimestre, el inicio de las relaciones sociales sa-nas en el segundo, y terminando el curso con la observación de diferentes reali-dades que comienzan a estar más presentes en nuestra sociedad. De esta ma-nera, el arte es capaz de conectar con los centros de interés de los alumnos, especialmente aquellos relacionados con las Ciencias Sociales, cuya presencia es muy relevante durante esta etapa evolutiva. La metodología principal que sigue la programación surge del método Mon-tessori, el cual aporta una serie de objetivos particulares que ponen en marcha la autonomía del alumno y su óptimo desempeño en tareas cotidianas. De esta manera, la enseñanza propuesta es altamente global e individualizada, ya que ofrece una gran variedad de situaciones de aprendizaje que potencian el com-pleto progreso de cada alumno. Esto significa que es capaz de atender flexible y activamente a la diversidad presente en el aula, cumpliendo con los principios del Diseño Universal del Aprendizaje.

It is presented nn annual didactic program contextualized in the 1st year of Early Childhood Education of the Montessori International School Conde de Or-gaz, starting from art, but with a greater focus on the area of Social Sciences. It has fifteen didactic units that are distributed throughout the 2023-2024 school year, whose common thread arises from the study of relevant artists who have contributed to culture throughout History. To do this, each didactic unit analyzes two paintings by a specific author, serving as a context to introduce the skills, objectives and knowledge of the three areas of Early Childhood Education. The programming aims to bring art closer to students in a useful and valuable way, guiding them through self-discovery and contact with their immediate envi-ronment during the first term, the beginning of healthy social relationships in the second one, and ending the course with the observation of different realities that are beginning to be more present in our society. In this way, art is able to con-nect with the centers of interest of the students, especially those related to the Social Sciences, whose presence is very relevant during this evolutionary stage. The main methodology that the programming follows arises from the Mon-tessori method, which provides a series of particular objectives that launch the autonomy of the student and their optimal performance in daily tasks. In this way, the proposed teaching method is highly global and individualized, since it offers a great variety of learning situations that enhance the complete progress of each student. This means that it is capable of flexibly and actively attending to the diversity present in the classroom, complying with the principles of the Uni-versal Design for Learning.
