Expectativas y realidad de la oferta y la calidad del empleo actual para los estudiantes del doble grado de Derecho y ADE en ICADE: caso promociones 2022- 2023 y 2023-2024.

Abstract

El tema escogido para la realización de este Trabajo Fin de Grado es el estado actual de la empleabilidad para los estudiantes de Derecho y ADE en ICADE. Para ello, se ha elaborado una encuesta donde se ha tratado de comprobar el estado actual de la cuestión sobre la población específica objeto de estudio. El objetivo general consistió en comparar las expectativas del alumnado de último curso del doble grado de Derecho y ADE en ICADE con la realidad laboral observada por la promoción 2022/2023 con respecto al salario medio, el tipo de contrato y el volumen de oferta laboral existente. Para ello, se realizó una encuesta a través de un cuestionario en Google Forms con ítems de respuesta escala y otros de respuesta libre y se distribuyó a una muestra total de N=127 participantes divididos en dos cohortes: estudiantes de último año de ICADE (n=65) y estudiantes graduados en la promoción anterior (n=62). Los resultados han mostrado que existe una alineación entre las expectativas de los estudiantes y la realidad laboral experimentada por los graduados. Así, se observan periodos de incorporación al mercado laboral promedios de entre 1 y 3 meses y rangos salariales de entre 12.451 y 20.200 euros brutos anuales. Además, se subrayó la necesidad de trabajar durante la carrera con un enfoque más práctico y menos teórico, centrándose en todas las novedades tecnológicas aplicables al sector que van surgiendo periódicamente y trabajando distintas habilidades sociales.

The topic chosen for the completion of this Final Degree Project is the current state of employability for Law and Business Administration students at ICADE. To this end, a field study has been carried out in which an attempt has been made to verify the current state of affairs regarding the specific population under study. The general objective was to compare the expectations of the final year students of the double degree in Law and Business Administration at ICADE with the work reality observed by the previous promotion (2022/2023) with respect to the average salary, the type of contract and the volume of existing job offer. To do this, a field study was carried out with a mixed methodology, which includes both research paradigms, quantitative and qualitative. To do this, a questionnaire was carried out in Google Forms with scale response items and other free response items and it was distributed to a total sample of N=127 participants divided into two cohorts: ICADE final year students (n=65) and students graduated in the previous class (n=62). The results have shown that there is an alignment between the expectations of the students and the work reality experienced by the graduates, with average entry periods into the labor market of between 1 and 3 months and salary ranges of between 12,451 and 20,200 euros gross per year. In addition, the need to work during the degree with a more practical and less theoretical approach was noted, focusing on all the technological developments applicable to the sector that arise periodically and working on different social skills.
