Programación 5 años Educación Infantil "PreSTEMos Atención al Viaje Espacial"

Abstract

La educación STEM en el nivel de Educación Infantil es una herramienta pedagógica clave para responder a las demandas sociales y a los requerimientos establecidos por la LOMLOE (2020), promoviendo el enfoque transversal y dinámico para favorecer el desarrollo integral del alumnado. Este modelo combina ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas, incluyendo elementos interdisciplinares que enriquecen el proceso de aprendizaje. Por medio de propuestas innovadoras, como es “PreSTEMos atención al viaje espacial”, se fomenta el pensamiento crítico y la resolución problemas desde edades tempranas utilizando metodologías activas que hacen al estudiante protagonista de su aprendizaje. Esta iniciativa se desarrolla mediante una programación anual con 15 unidades didácticas interconectadas por un hilo conductor motivador, que despierta la curiosidad y facilita la experimentación. El enfoque garantiza la integración de contenidos de las tres áreas del currículo infantil, asegurando la adquisición de saberes básicos y conectando teoría y práctica. Además, potencia competencias clave como comunicación, autonomía, cooperación y creatividad, esenciales en una sociedad en constante evolución. La educación en valores se refuerza con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), sensibilizando sobre sostenibilidad y responsabilidad social desde la infancia. Asimismo, el Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje (DUA) permite crear actividades accesibles e inclusivas, respondiendo a la diversidad del alumnado.

STEM education at the Early Childhood Education level is a key pedagogical tool to respond to social demands and the requirements established by the LOMLOE (2020), promoting a transversal and dynamic approach to favor the comprehensive development of students. This model combines science, technology, engineering and mathematics, including interdisciplinary elements that enrich the learning process. Through innovative proposals, such as “PreSTEMos attention to space travel”, critical thinking and problem solving are encouraged from an early age using active methodologies that make the student the protagonist of their learning. This initiative is developed through an annual program with 15 didactic units interconnected by a motivating thread that awakens curiosity and facilitates experimentation. The approach guarantees the integration of content from the three areas of the children's curriculum, ensuring the acquisition of basic knowledge and connecting theory and practice. In addition, it enhances key competencies such as communication, autonomy, cooperation and creativity, which are essential in a society in constant evolution. Education in values is reinforced by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), raising awareness of sustainability and social responsibility from an early age. Likewise, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) allows for the creation of accessible and inclusive activities, responding to the diversity of the student body.
