Creación de un instrumento de objetivación de signos y síntomas en fase final de vida

Abstract

Con este proyecto se ha intentado objetivar, entendiendo por esto, dar carácter objetivo a una idea o sentimiento, los síntomas y signos que suelen aparecer en la etapa de final de vida. Para ello se ha creado una herramienta, basándonos en la información recopilada con términos como: hospital care, quality-adjusted life expectancy, integrative palliative care, right to die o empathy, que pueda ayudar a los profesionales a distinguir en qué fase de la etapa de final de vida se encuentra el paciente y así poder ajustar el tipo de cuidados que se van a realizar. La herramienta se encuentra dividida en tres fases: - Adaptación situacional. - Agonía. - Situación de últimos dias. En cada fase se han incluido los signos y síntomas que más suelen aparecer y se ha creado una herramienta, en la que se pueden cuantificar estos mismos, para poder saber en qué fase se encuentra cada paciente.

With this project we have tried to objectify the symptoms and signs that usually appear at the end of life, meaning to give an objective character to an idea or feeling. To this end, a tool has been created, based on the information gathered with terms such as hospital care, quality-adjusted life expectancy, integrative palliative care, right to die or empathy, which can help professionals to distinguish which phase of the end-of-life stage the patient is in and thus be able to adjust the type of care to be provided. The tool is divided into three phases: - Situational adaptation. - Agony. - Last days situation. In each phase, the most common signs and symptoms have been included, and a tool has been created, in which these can be quantified, in order to know in which phase each patient is.
