El olvido de Moisés

Abstract

A comparison of the account of Ex 32-34 and Dt 9,1-10,11 evidences an important difference between these texts. Moses oversight regarding God mercy and grace underlines three different aspects of the image of God in Dt 9,1-10,11: his commitment to Israel lasts for ever, his mercy and covenant precede whatever action by Israel (justification), and his revelation to the Patriarchs happened once, when he took an oath of allegiance to Israel s ancestors.
