| Resumen : | Este estudio pretende analizar las dificultades específicas de la traducción de la terminología técnica relacionada con el fútbol del español al inglés, una tarea que se vuelve especialmente problemática debido a la abundante presencia de los falsos y pseudo anglicismos en la terminología pertinente en español. This study seeks to analyze the specific difficulties inherent in the translation of technical terminology related to football from Spanish into English, a task made all the problematic by the abundance of both false and pseudo Anglicisms in the associated terminology in Spanish. |
