La eclesiología trinitaria en perspectiva ecuménica

Abstract

En este estudio quiero presentar, en primer término, cómo ha sido incorporada la antigua doctrina trinitaria en la enseñanza del Vaticano II. Ecclesia de Trinitate habla de la íntima relación entre el Dios trinitario y la Iglesia como comunidad histórica de seguidores de Jesucristo (LG 2-4; Ur 2; AG 2-4). La categoría teológica clave es comunión (koinonia). En tercer lugar, sugiero que una relectura y apropiación más plena de la eclesiología trinitaria son de particular importancia en el momento actual con vistas a la unidad ecuménica entre las Iglesias.

In this study I will discuss, first, how the ancient doctrine of Trinity came to be incorporated into the teaching of Vatican II. Ecclesia de Trinitate speaks to the intimate relationship between the Triune God and the Church as the historical community of the folowers of jesus Christ (LG 2-4; UR 2; AG 2-4). The chief theological category is communion (koinonia). Third, I suggest that a rereading and fuller appropiation of the trinitarian ecclesiology are partuculary important at the present time for ecumenical unity between the Churches.
