El programa nuclear iraní. Orgullo nacional, amenaza regional o percepción equivocada

Abstract

Desde hace 50 años Irán ha venido trabajando en un programa nuclear. Dichas ambiciones no siempre han contado con el apoyo de los Estados Unidos. Tras la muerte de Jomeini el programa nuclear tomó velocidad de crucero pero fue 2002 cuando se descubrieron instalaciones secretas. Este descubrimiento hizo sospechar a la Comunidad Internacional de que los fines no eran exclusivamente pacíficos y civiles. Estas sospechas empeoraron con la llegada al poder Ahmadineyad. Sin embargo desde ha un par de años las posiciones se han acercado y aunque no se ha alcanzado un acuerdo definitivo, a lo largo del 2015 es probable que veamos resultados tangibles.

For 50 years Iran has been working on a nuclear program. These ambitions have not always had the support of the United States . After the death of Khomeini 's nuclear program took cruise but it was 2002 when secret installations were discovered. This discovery led to the suspicion of the international community that were not exclusively for peaceful purposes and civilians. These suspicions worsened with the coming to power Ahmadinejad . However, since it has a couple of years the positions have come closer and although it has not reached a final agreement , throughout 2015 it is likely to see tangible results.
