Estudio del lenguaje especializado y los préstamos en el documental de moda The September Issue

Abstract

El siguiente estudio realiza un análisis de los préstamos y anglicismos utilizados en la industria de la moda y, más concretamente, en el documental The September Issue. A través del análisis del documental, producido por R.J. Cutler, Eliza Hindmarch y Sadia Shepard en 2009, se pretende demostrar las dificultades que se podrían encontrar en este trabajo y las diferentes opciones que se encontrarían utilizando una terminología específica. También se estudiarán las estrategias que se ha seguido en la traducción de Reyes Bermejo para RTVE en 2011, así como los anglicismos y préstamos que se encuentran en el documental, y que implica los resultados a los que se llegan.

The following study performs an analysis of borrowings and anglicisms used in the fashion industry and, more specifically, in the documentary The September Issue. Through the analysis of the documentary, produced by R.J. Cutler, Eliza Hindmarch and Sadia Shepard in 2009, the aim is to demonstrate the difficulties that could be encountered in this work and the different options that could be found by using specific terminology. The strategies followed in the translation by Reyes Bermejo for RTVE in 2011 will also be studied, as well as the anglicisms and borrowings found in the documentary, which implies the results reached.
