Abstract
La traducción literaria está profundamente relacionada con la realidad cultural de la lengua meta (Toury: 1995). Los procesos de manipulación, inherentes a todo hecho traslativo, pueden estar condicionados por diversas circunstancias que marcan la recepción de la obra literaria: la sensibilidad lectora (Manguel, 1998), los cánones estéticos (Even-Zohar, 1990; Lefevere, 1992), las modas editoriales y la censura (Rabadán, 2000). Literary translation is intimately linked to the cultural reality of the target language (Toury: 1995). Attempts at manipulation, inherent in every work of translation, may be conditioned by a number of circumstances which mark the reception of the literary work: reader sensitivity (Manguel, 1998), aesthetic canons (Even-Zohar, 1990; Lefevere, 1992), publishing fashions and censorship (Rabadán, 2000).
